Curious about Little’ampton
DEAR Whispering Smith, we recently moved from Lancing to Rustington and discovered a new colony of columnists for the Gazette. Whether this is just this part of its catchment area or the general improvements which the editor keeps going on about, we can’t judge.
They are, though, quite informative and enjoyable.
One thing that puzzles us is your frequent reference to “LA”. Is this really meant to be “Littlehampton” – which surely should be “LH” – or a pun on the great metropolis of Littlehampton as opposed to that city in California? Please, give us the answer
