Flood risk is real
As a resident of Rope Walk, Littlehampton, for 20 years, I find I cannot agree with the Environment Agency’s Andrew Gilham when he said that the west bank of the River Arun is not at great risk of flooding (Gazette, January 22).
I have noticed severe erosion of the mud bank, which has taken place since the flood defence work has been done on the east bank.
Also, we have had our grounds flooded, though not our homes.
