After months of preparation and a comprehensive audition process, each of the five candidates have won a 13+ Music Award to Cranleigh School.

Music Scholarships have been awarded to: Kate Wili for flute, singing and piano; Francesca D’Agata for singing and piano; Jasmine Davis for flute and piano and William Grainger for euphonium and guitar. Eve Cassidy has won a Music Exhibition for flute and singing. Each of these performers are involved in a full programme of ensembles and concerts at school and further afield, and their influence and success has been really inspiring within the school community.

Head of Prep School Music, Catherine Beddison, says “I was particularly impressed by the independence and dedication that each candidate displayed” and she praised them for raising their game and performing at the highest level in their auditions. “With a raft of competitions and concerts scheduled in coming weeks, it is clear that these musicians will continue to rehearse and perform at the highest level and we wish them every success.”
