LETTER: Magnificent sum raised by branch

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the people of Horsham and surrounding areas for their generosity to the British Heart Foundation in donating the sum of £400.99 which we collected recently around the town and local villages.

The collection at Tesco Stores at Broadbridge Heath on Thursday August 7 raised the sum of £221.58, and our thanks go to the staff, management and customers of the store.

I would also like to thank the people of Horsham and surrounding areas for contributing to the magnificent sum of £39,952.76 which was raised by our local branch during the year 2013-14.

We will continue to fight for every heartbeat.
