LETTER: Obstructions can never be ‘safe’
The purpose of double yellow lines is to prevent parking where it would cause obstruction or danger, or both.
It can thus never be ‘safe and reasonable’ for parking attendants to park on them, as allowed by Horsham District Council.
The attendants should be instructed to park only in permitted places and walk from there to do their job, just as the rest of us have to.
