Seeking Elmer

For the last week they have been searching for their beloved Elmer after he jumped out of their car on a picnic excursion at Houghton Hill.

He was clipped by a car but carried on running. That was last Tuesday afternoon. He was seen late the next morning near the Whiteways Café, but was so terrified he would not come near people.

His adopters, who are elderly, have exhausted themselves with night vigils for Elmer, and are now completely besides themselves with worry about him.

Elmer is eight-years-old, tan with black ear tips and tail. If anyone sees Elmer, please contact me at Southern Lurcher Rescue on 07940 555 574. He is a very much loved pet.
