Thanks for making Pebbles on the Beach a big hit

Months of planning and days of set-up were worth every minute when we woke up to sunshine on Saturday and the gates opened to let in the 1,500 people who had managed to get hold of tickets.

My thanks to all those involved, to everyone who gave their time over the four days, the sponsors, Sussex Police, St John Ambulance, Arun District Council and, of course, the 14 Littlehampton bands who showed just how much talent there is in our town and made the day such a success.

Thanks, also, to the public who turned up and joined in.

I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
