Outings for the elderly on offer

Elderly residents around Bognor Regis are being invited to go along on coach outings.

At least two of the journeys are likely to be run by the town's Rotary Club in June. Exact dates to be confirmed.

The club joins with Sammy Community Transport to arrange the vehicles for the afternoon trips.

They are aimed at elderly people who do not have much chance to get out and about very often, particularly if they live alone.

Anyone who is interested, or who knows of someone who might benefit from the outings, should contact Rotarian Mike Fildes on 01243 828718.
