This year the event is celebrating the Olympics 2012 and para-Olympic games.

Children from five Bexhill schools - Chantry primary school, King Offa, Sidley, St Mary’s school in Wrestwood Road, and Bexhill High - will parade around the park, enter the green from four sides and place a replica Olympic torch in the centre.

Their parade will be accompanied by music from local bands who will play throughout the day.

Organiser Marcia Linden said: “Thanks to Radiator Artists Mary Hooper and Jane Bruce, Rother’s Arts Development Peter Quinnell and Donna Hall, you will have the opportunity to attend themed sculpture and art workshops for all ages and the finished pieces will be displayed in the Park.
