PEASMARSH SCHOOL FAIR: Tomorrow (Saturday 11 July) sees the Peasmarsh CE School Summer Fair, 12 - 3pm. There will be delicious food and drink, a bouncy castle, face painting, tombola, games, raffle, arts and crafts stalls plus karate and dance presentations. Entry for adults is £1, children are free (however they must be accompanied by an adult). Please support our school if you can by going along and joining in the fun!

HEARING RESOURCE CENTRE: On Thursday July 16 from 10.30am until 3.30pm East Sussex Hearing Resource Centre will have a mobile unit at Jempson’s car park for free information and advice on all aspects of hearing loss. There will be demonstrations of assistive equipment such as amplified phones, loop systems, alarm clocks and smoke alarms; also free hearing screening tests, hearing aid maintenance and battery service. We are lucky to have such a valuable free service brought to us, make sure you visit the mobile unit if you have any hearing difficulties.

ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR: The next Arts and Crafts Fair at the Memorial hall will be on Sunday July 19, 10.30am - 4.30pm. Lots of stalls and a large variety of goods for sale.

ROCK AND ROLL EVENING: There will be another Rock and Roll Evening at the hall on Saturday August 15 at 7.30pm in aid of St Michael’s Hospice and the Memorial hall. The last one was a huge success so get your tickets early - these can be obtained in advance from Jan Weston, please ring her between 6-7pm on 01797 230877.

CHURCH SERVICES: This Sunday both the 8am and 10am services will be at Beckley church.
