Pedestrian suffers broken bones in Littlehampton crash

WITNESSES are being sought by police after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Littlehampton last night (February 9).

Emergency services were called to the A259 near to Holmes Way at about 6.15pm to reports of a collision.

The incident involved a black Mercedes and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 35-year-old man from Littlehampton, was taken to Worthing with broken bones, a police source confirmed, while the driver, a 61-year-old woman from Storrington, was uninjured.
