Alex to ride against Ebola
Alex, from St Peter’s Primary School, Cowfold, had the idea of a bike ride to raise money to help their twinned school in the African country.
He intends to do 50 miles a day both days of the weekend, and has sponsor forms and collection tubs in The Bull Inn Henfield and the Chalet Café, Cowfold.

“I love cycling so I thought why don’t I do a sponsored bike ride, I mentioned it to my head teacher who said yes I then had to persuade my dad to follow me as I am only 10!”
The ride will cover laps around Shermanbury and Cowfold throughout the weekend. So far nearly £200 has been pledged, and Alex hopes more people will donate in the coming days.
