Brighton beach bustling as outdoor bars reopen and huge queues of shoppers pictured at Churchill Square

People have been making the most of the sunshine, and newfound freedom, in Brighton today (Saturday, April 17).

Whilst the outside bars at the beach are bustling with visitors, keen shoppers have formed large queues at Churchill Square with the Debenhams department store providing particularly popular.

These photos have been taken on the first weekend since lockdown restrictions eased further on Monday (April 12), as shops, gyms, hairdressers and beauty salons were allowed to reopen, whilst restaurants and pubs welcomed customers outside.
