Cash donation ‘delight’ for Littlehampton youth club
YOUNG people in Littlehampton and Rustington have been given a boost by Sussex Police following a £250 donation from the force, this month.
Members of the Arun Community Church’s new drop-in scheme at the Southfields Jubilee Centre, in Southfields Road, are “delighted” the cash windfall, presented by community engagement sergeant for West Sussex, Peter Allan.
The money will go towards purchasing new sporting equipment as well as supplies for the scheme’s kitchen.
The cash comes from the Police Property Act Fund, made up of monies received by the force from property confiscated by the court and then sold.
