Organisers said: "It was a great privilege and honour for the BHMF (Brighton& Hove Muslim Forum) to once again offer Christmas lunch to the homeless.

"If ever we needed to do it, it was this year when due to the coronavirus, it seems all other places were closed.

"It is now over a year since the world came to hear of the Coronavirus– Covid-19.

"It has killed around 70,405 UK residents and worldwide it has killed 1,754,762 people. It has changed our lives completely.

"We had a marvellous turnout, in fact, the highest we have seen."

The Brighton & Hove Muslim Forum based in Quens Road serves Muslims and the community at large.
