A power cut affected hundreds of homes in Hastings this morning (Saturday, April 15).
UK Power Networks said the issue was first reported at 9.12am and confirmed that it affected the following postcode areas: DA2 6, TN24 1, TN3 1, TN32 5, TN34 1, TN34 2, TN34 3, TN34 X and TN37 6.
UK Power Networks said that power was restored to the area at 10.24am.
They said: “An underground electricity cable faulted on our high voltage network, causing an area wide power cut.”
