No trains will call at Crawley Railway Station until 8pm, Southern Railway has announced.

The news came via Twitter, where a Southern Railway spokesperson explained that the disruption is due to vandalism on the line.

Further delays are also expected in the area and some services may need to run at reduced speeds. Customers have been advised that they can use their tickets on any metrobus service free of charge in order to reach their destination via any reasonable route.

The Metrobus station is a short walk away across the road, opposite the entrance to Crawley Railway Station.
