The workshop was held in Christ’s Hospital School’s art department and made in conjunction with Sussex Community Rail.

Pupils from Arunside Primary School, Greenway Academy, Shelley Primary School, St John’s Catholic Primary School and Holy Trinity Primary School created the colourful posters to help promote rail safety, under the guidance of Christ’s Hospital art teachers.

“The pupils were a delight to work with,” said Maddy Mills, education officer for the Sussex Community Rail Partnership.

“The workshop focused on railway safety and I’m excited to see the pupils’ finished posters promoting rail safety.”

Railway safety is part of the Go Learn education programme, delivered by the Sussex Community Rail Partnership and Southern Rail, which aims to help children develop confidence and skills for safe, independent travel on public transport.
