PLANNING: Pub chain hatches plans to change Oystercatcher

Pub chain Mitchells and Butlers has submitted its plans for The Oystercatcher, in Yapton Road, to Arun District Council.

The planning application is in the latest list submitted to Arun District Council in the Gazette area:

ANGMERING: single-storey rear extension and porch to front elevation (this application affects the character and appearance of the Angmering conservation area), Westend, High Street.

ARUNDEL: single-storey portable cabin-style building within the Arundel conservation area, behind the Norfolk Centre, Mill Road.

Remodelling of the house and change of design of roof over rear utility and WC (this application affects the character and appearance of the Arundel conservation area), 23 King Street.

CLIMPING: replacement of windows with new bi-fold doors on front elevation, and new window in side rendered wall, The Oystercatcher, Yapton Road.

Roof alterations, including installation of five new dormers, ground-floor side extension, timber balcony, other external and internal alterations and replacement of sheds with ancillary garage building, Poole Place, Grevatts Lane.

EAST PRESTON: single-storey front extension with pitched roof, 39 The Ridings.

Form ramp to level platform at front door, door to be replaced with level access front door to match existing and handrail to be fitted to platform and ramp, 1 Saxon Close.

KINGSTON: new timber composite cladding at first floor level to all elevations, including front (street) elevation, new timber composite cladding and roof to existing front porch, Oceanways, 61 Coastal Road, East Preston.

Side extension and alterations to front elevation (re-submission following K/7/14), Appletree Lodge, Golden Acre, East Preston.

LITTLEHAMPTON: removal of entrance steps, building of level platform and installation of steplift for access, 8 Harbour View Park South, Rope Walk.

Replacement of front porch doors, lifting existing porch floor level, inserting new glazed boarded doors and fascia over, removal of rear access porch and reinstatement of facade, creation of new entrance door within conservatory, together with internal lobby and installation of new steps/sleeper plants/freestanding gazebo arched entrance feature and covered pergola link to side entrance, Locomotive pub, 74 Lyminster Road.

Two-storey side extension, including widening front dormer window, 44 White Horses Way.

RUSTINGTON: garage extension, 67 Sea Avenue.
