Outline plans have been submitted for the building of 50 new homes in Boxgrove.

The Brooks family’s application would see the new housing be built on the land adjacent from St. Hughs on The Street in Boxgrove.

The dwellings would consist largely of two-storey detached, semi-detached and terraced properties and will include some flats as part of the development.

The proposal seeks to provide 15 affordable dwellings with a split of First Homes, affordable rented to shared ownership housing.

Overall the 50 dwellings will be comprised of: two one-bed flats eight two-bed flats, one two-bed flat over garage, 26 three-bed houses, three three-bed bungalows, eight four-bed houses and two five-bed houses.

Car parking would be provided with more than two spaces per dwelling with additional visitor parking.

Cycle parking would also be provided in garages for the houses and in communal cycle stores at a total of 84 spaces.
