Praise for Conquest library

THE Roswell Library at the Conquest, and the Health Sciences Library at Eastbourne DGH have received rave reviews in a user satisfaction survey.

The libraries support all NHS staff in the area and use a range of methods to monitor services - this survey forms only part of the overall monitoring process.

Jenny Turner, Trust Librarian, said, "The intention was to assess the satisfaction of current users of the service and we had a response rate of 60 percent. Out of this number we were so pleased to see that 99 percent of respondents said that the library provided a good service and 100 percent who sought help from library staff were successful."

Comments received through the survey include: "First class staff who are very helpful''

''I wish to thank the staff of the library as they provide a professional and polite

service''

Jenny said, "We are very happy with the results and they are a testimony to staff who work so hard to ensure a good, quality service.

"We are always looking at ways to improve and, as a result of this survey, we are going to review our range and number of course books. We will also explore ways to market e-resources more effectively and follow up any comments added to the questionnaires.

"Thanks to everyone who took time to complete the survey."
