Pupils enjoy egg-static fun

Eggs-cellent fun at a Bognor Regis school put over the Easter message with a smile.

The Christian theme of love, forgiveness and resurrection has been mingled with lots of activities at Laburnum Grove Junior School.

These included a Decorate an Egg competition, with plenty of beads and glitter to hand, and the Easter bonnet-making contest.

An Easter egg hunt and an Easter disco continued the theme. Headteacher Pip Otton said: "A big thank you to parents and local shops who supported us with the generous donation of Easter eggs.

"The credit crunch has certainly not impacted on parents' generosity. The children have certainly enjoyed crunching into their Easter egg prizes."
