Red carpet evening for Ashington brothers who star in Downton Abbey

Two brothers from Ashington who play the role of Master George Crawley in Downton Abbey took to the red carpet on Tuesday August 11 as part of a special BAFTA tribute to the show.

Four-year-olds Zac and Oliver Barker joined the rest of the cast and crew who star in the hit ITV drama at the Richmond Theatre, London, to receive the prestigious award following the 
end of filming for the last series on Monday.

The boys’ mum Clare, who attended the event along with husband Damian and daughter Megan - who is Zac and Oliver’s triplet sister - said: “It was a truly surreal and magical night - one we’ll never forget.”
