Residents asked for Selsey funding ideas

Selsey Town Council are asking residents for ideas of where to spends its remaining community funding.

In June 2015, the council created the community fund panel, having received a large sum of money from the surrender of a lease.

The panel, made up of town councillors, considered the benefit of all those applications put forward and awards were made to various groups and charities in April 2016 at the annual town meeting.

Funding of £125,000 remains available and so a new community fund panel was convened in July 2016.

The panel are now encouraging suggestions that would deliver something of lasting impact and significance for the whole community.
