Roof ripped off in bus crash

PART of the roof was torn off a double decker bus when it collided with a railway bridge at Barnham on Sunday.

Ironically, at the time of the accident, the Solent Blue Line bus was on its way to Barnham Railway Station to pick up rail passengers because of work on the line.

It was confirmed that the vehicle was part of a fleet of buses providing a service on behalf of Southern Railway.

There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the accident.
