Runners remember tragic friend

A 25-year-old Heathfield man finished the Great North Run in one hour, 28 minutes, 16 seconds, putting him in 538th place out of 20,000 competitors.

She had worked as marketing manager at Chelsea Football Club and Jose Mourinho dedicated the team's Champion's league victory over Barcelona to her.

In 1999 Vicky worked on a water project providing clean running water to a town in Ethiopia.
