Church: The Baptist Church has a number of events taking place in the week. On Tuesdays there is a Drop-in Hub from 9am - 12 noon. There is a Ladies Bible Studies on Thursdays during term-time at 9.30am and a bible study and prayer meeting at 7.30pm.

Netball: Thursday is netball practice for Homewood School, Tenterden during term time only from 8.15pm - 9.30pm.

Toddler Group: Little Rainbows mother and toddler group is on Friday’s during term time, from 9.30am - 11.30am.

Soccer school: On Saturday from 9.30am - 11.30am Sportsreach Soccer School takes place on Sandhurst Playing Fields.

WI: The last meeting of Sandhurst and Newenden W.I. has taken place. The District Advisor took a vote to determine the feeling of the members and all voted for closure,

Refuse: The civic amenities refuse lorry is a really useful service and is under threat. The parish council have retained it for a further year but it is doubtful that Tunbridge Wells will continue to fund it. The service was designed to assist rural communities to dispose of domestic refuse and cut down on fly-tipping.
