Schools shutdown to hit county

A MASS of closures was hitting schools across West Sussex today (April 24) because of a one-day national strike.

At least 55 primary, secondary and special schools in the county were reported to be shutting or partially closing in the first nationwide pay strike by the National Union of Teachers for 21 years.
