A SCOUT'S JOURNEY SO FAR

Ben Slidel, an Alliance Unit Explorer Scout, submitting his C.V. for the Chief Scout's Gold Award stated in his text, My Journey So Far: 1 I have had a great time over the years, 2 I have learnt many skills that will stand me in good stead for my adult life, 3 I won't go hungry and I shouldn't get lost and I can keep myself safe and warm, 4 I can mix and get on with people, 5 I have been given a sense of adventure, 6I can have fun, 7 And much more - '' It is not over yet ''!

SIR RICHARD BRANSON SAYS:

My Scouting days helped me to cope with adversity. I've been pulled out of the sea six times by helicopters when my balloons and boats either sank or crashed.
