Silence is golden!
SILENCE really was golden at All Saints and St Richard's C of E Primary School in Heathfield. Thanks to a 'Big Hush' in January, children from the school were able to donate £649.20 to Macmillan Cancer Support at a school assembly last week.
Faith Bagley, community fundraiser for Macmillan in Sussex, spoke to the children about the charity's work and just what a difference the money they raised will make. Ms Bagley said: 'The children did amazingly well to raise such a fantastic sum. All Saints and St Richard's is only a small school, which makes their fundraising all the more impressive.'
