Spring into your local library

The Council is providing a number of spring events for children and parents and carers to enjoy throughout April.

You can find out what's happening by contacting your local library or by visiting the County Council's website at eastsussex.gov.uk/libraries and click on 'spring holiday events'.

Library springtime events include:

Storytime and crafts to take home at Battle Library (Wednesday 11 April, 11-11.30am) Cuddle Bunnies at Bexhill Library (Thursday 12 April 10am-12pm) Stories for children at Hailsham Library (Friday 13 April 2.15-2.45pm) Rhymetime for under fives (Tuesday 10 April, 1.45-2.15pm) and stories and crafts with spring flowers for under fives (Wednesday 25 April 10.45am - 1.30pm) - both at Hastings Children's Library Stories for children at Heathfield Library (Thursday 12 April, 2.15 -2.45pm) Cat in the Hat 50th Birthday celebration at Peacehaven Library (Tuesday 10 April, 10.30-11.45am) and at Seaford Library (Wednesday 11 April, 2.30-3.45pm) Easter rhymetime at Rye Library (Tuesday 10 April, 11-11.30am) Rhymetimes for under fives (10.30-11.00am) and stories for children (2.15-2.45pm) both at Uckfield Library (Tuesday 10 April)

Many of the events are aimed at young children and parents are reminded that all children under the age of eight must be accompanied by and adult.
