Suspicious van seen

About 1.10pm on May 9, a member of the public reported the sighting of a white high top van to Sussex Police.

The vehicle was seen in Sandymount Avenue. Two men got out of the vehicle and seemed to be looking down property’s driveways.

The first male was described as of stocky build with dark hair and his 20s. The second was in his 20s.

Although police have said no crime was reported in the road they would like residents to report any similar activity on the non-emergency telephone number 101.

In Markfield, Bognor Regis the door of a garage which had previously been broken into was damaged.

Although no access was gained to the out-building Bognor Police have asked residents to make sure their properties are secured properly.
