Sweet fundraiser brings in £40
STUDENTS preparing for this year's Bexhill FM broadcast in July held a cake sale in the '˜heartspace' at Bexhill High School to raise money for their broadcasting licence. The cakes were 'wonderful' and £40 was raised.
Bexhill FM will go live for a week on July 15 when everyone will be able to tune in on 87.7FM or online at www.bexhillfm.org.
The radio team - which includes students and ex-students from years seven to 13 and beyond - is seeking sponsorship and funding from local organisations and businesses, but will hold more cake sales, gigs and competitions to help reach the target of £2,500.
