Teen makes final of talent contest
A STUDENT from Ringmer Community College has made it through to the final of the South Coast Idol talent competition.
Chloe Powell, 15, from Lewes Road in Ringmer, was chosen from more than 100 challengers and will compete with six other singers at the grand final at the Concorde 2 in Brighton on April 20.
The winner of the final will have the chance to record an album and will take on a national tour.
In the last two stages Chloe has performed Over the Rainbow, based on Eva Cassidy's version of the song, and is currently rehearsing Gershwin's Summertime which she hopes to sing at the final.
