There are still temporary lights on Powdermill Lane between Catsfield and Battle, near Catsfield, Road today (July 8).

Yesterday water was seen flowing down the road and East Sussex Highways and South East Water were working at the site.

This morning, the water appeared to have stopped flowing but drivers reported extensive damage to the road and highways engineers were still at the scene.

The lane closure is causing slight delays which are expected to last throughout the day.
