This could be the most important meeting you ever go to

THOUSANDS of people are being urged to join a march through the streets of Worthing to protest against any cuts at the hospital.

To bring the message home, the Herald has printed a poster members of the public can take along, to say "Hands off our hospital".

The march, on Wednesday, has been organised by West Sussex MPs Tim Loughton, Peter Bottomley, Nick Gibb and Nick Herbert. It will start at 6pm from:

- Behind the Aquarena

- Also, the bottom of George V Avenue

Both marches will proceed along the seafront until they join a public meeting, organised by Worthing Council, at the Pavilion Theatre.

The meeting, which starts at 7pm, will discuss the changes proposed by the NHS South Coast, formerly the Surrey and Sussex Strategic Health Authority. Under plans to save a spiralling debt of 35 million in West Sussex, options including downgrading and total closure could be on the cards for Worthing Hospital.
