Traffic calming exhibition

Residents in Gunters Lane are being asked for their views about plans for traffic calming.

A proposed scheme has been designed to reduce vehicle speeds along the road and provide improvements for pedestrians.

The scheme includes new traffic islands to slow speeds and help pedestrians cross the road safely, a kerb build out to reduce the road to a single lane near Glenleigh Park Road and alternating one way access, controlled by traffic lights, between Deans Drive and Beatrice Walk. Access improvements will also be made at the bus stops.
