At 4.18pm East Sussex Fire and Rescue were called to reports of a car stuck in water on Barcombe Mills Road, Barcombe where four pumps are currently in attendance.

At 5.05pm, four water trained personnel entered the water rescuing all four adults, one child and one dog using two water paths from three cars and a van stuck in the water in the road.. No injuries were reported.

Barcombe Mills Closed was officially closed both ways by East Sussex Fire and Rescue at 5.08pm
