Tudor day

St Mary Magdalene primary school Year 5 pupils enjoyed a Tudor Day fit for a King.

They dressed up in medieval costumes and had the opportunity to try a number of Tudor activities, including writing with a quill, making Tudor toys and lavender bags and dancing. The day ended with a banquet similar to those held in the court of King Henry VIII.

The day was the culmination of work carried out during last term by Year 5 as part of their learning journey about the Tudors.
