TV green guru gets station welcome
JOANNA Yarrow, green guru and expert presenter on TV's This Morning and Tonight with Trevor MacDonald, was greeted by the Sussex Community Rail Partnership when she returned 'home' via Buxted railway station this week.
Proving that she doesn't just talk green, Joanna took the train from her London home to her childhood patch of wilderness in Hadlow Down.
She states in her brand new book that trains are almost always faster than road travel and you get to see the scenery and have a good sleep or finish up any outstanding work at the same time.
She came to Sussex to launch her latest book '1001 Ways you can save the Planet'.
The Sussex Community Rail Partnership was thrilled to be able to be a part of Joanna's big day.
