Woman denies stealing money

A Bognor Regis woman has denied stealing £17,000 from a 77-year-old woman living at a care home.

Elizabeth Whitelock, 46, was charged with four theft offences in June

this year.

It is alleged she stole almost 11,000 from a resident living at Aldwick Care Home in 2006 and more than 6,000 from the same person in 2007.

She denied all charges at Chichester Crown Court last Friday.

Whitelock, of Victoria Drive, Bognor will appear at the court again on

March 29 for trial and was released on conditional bail until then.

She must stay at her home address or with her mother in London until she appears at court again.
