ANNIS STRIKES AGAIN
WICK Football Club striker Darren Annis netted for the third successive time since his return to the club from Shoreham earlier this month.
His opening goal helped Wick to a comfortable victory over now-bottom Rye on Saturday. Annis struck in the 33rd-minute after excellent play by strike-partner Danny Curd.
Curd lost possession of the ball, but won it back and played in Annis who shot the ball under the onrushing Rye keeper.
