Basketball boys win West Sussex tournament

After finishing runners-up in the league with just one narrow defeat, the Chichester High School for Boys under-13 basketball team were very eager for victory in the West Sussex West competition.

The game plan was to press high up the court and counter attack quickly in three attacking channels when they faced St Philip Howard in the final of the five-team event at The Regis School.

The boys were clever enough to double up on St Philip Howard’s only playmaker, stopping his impact on the game. The CHSB boys came out on top and now will represent West Sussex in the county finals in July.
