Blues' hopes hit by suspensions

RINGMER manager Steve Johnson returns to Arundel for the first time on Saturday since his sacking from the club and admits it will add a bit of spice to the fixture.

Johnson said: 'Unfortunately we will be depleted as I have Herv King, Dan McLaughlin and Aaron MacMillan suspended.

'It's a shame. Had we been able to play at Rye on Tuesday evening they would have been okay.

'We heard that game was off at 4.30pm so at least it saved us a wasted journey.

'The Arundel match is a big game for me, and some of the players I signed are still there and a few have come to me, so it should be competitive.

'I'm looking forward to it, I met some nice people there. It didn't work out for me but I enjoyed my time there and it's nice to go back. Arundel were flying before Saturday's defeat by Crowborough, and they play football and so do we and it should be a good game.'
