Clear round jumping boosted Brooke
West Sussex riders have helped Jane Ricard's quest to raise money for the Brooke Hospital by taking part in a clear round jumping event she organised recently at Brinsbury College.
Jane is taking part in a 170 km ride across the Rift Valley in Africa in February and hopes to raise 3,000 for the equine hospital.
The equine hospital helps more than 500,000 working equine animals each year across seven countries. The jumping event was one of her final fundraisers to help her achieve her target and offered everything from small poles up to jumps of 2ft 9ins and 3ft, with heights gradually increased during the day.
The day raised an escellent 250.
