Horley colts finish on a high with nine-wicket victory

The home side batted first and made 95 for six in their 20 overs against a Horley team which featured a smattering of under-age players.
In reply, Horley passed the target with ease, with seven overs to spare and for the loss of just one wicket.

Hide AdChristian Kelly top-scored with 28 and Aryan Patel and Freddie Holland made 18 each.
Horley under-11s 322-0 (20 overs), Reigate Priory under-11s 262-6 (20 overs)
Horley achieved a terrific win against a team which included a county player and a district player, as well as some less-experienced players.
Reigate Priory won the toss and elected to field on a very hot and energy-sapping evening.

Hide AdUdith Molanguri and Leah Lane got off to a good start, putting on 37 for the opening partnership, with Molanguri scoring 18 from 13 balls.
Jack Abbott and Bailey Warren put on 19 in their four overs, with some steady batting and good calling.
The third partnership of Luke Brown and Harvey Craze turned down some run chances as they protected their wickets and they put on 18 runs.
Harry Betts and Taylor Whelan faced Reigate’s quick bowlers but managed to score at a great rate and put on 34 runs.

Hide AdBetts scored an outstanding 22 runs from 15 balls, hitting some lovely cover drives, and Whelan scored five from six balls.
Alex Field and Joseph Marshall put on 14 runs, to finish up with a score of 322.
