Priory lie third in Sussex Cricket League Division Two having won three and lost two of their first five fixtures, although they’ve played all the other teams in the top five and only one of the bottom five.
“We’ve played the teams that are above us and now it’s an opportunity for us to go on a run,” said captain John Morgan. “If we can get four or five back-to-back wins, it will put pressure on other teams.”

“I don’t really see it as an issue of home versus away,” added Morgan. “We just need to play to our standards and wins will come from doing that.
“We’re experienced at playing first team cricket and from 1-11 we’re a quality side; it’s just about understanding what it takes to win games in this league.”
Tom Gillespie, Bradley Smith and Henry Smith are set to come in for unavailable trio Harry Finch, Adam Maharaj-Newman and Ted Smith as Priory face Ifield for the first time.
