DAVIES AT THE DOUBLE

TWO Steve Davies goals in the opening 24 minutes were enough for Littlehampton FC to defeat Southwick on Saturday.

The first could have been prevented by Wickers while the second was a result of an excellent team move.

Davies' opener within 90 seconds was a free header from a Peter Brackley free kick after Dean Lipscombe had fouled Phil Turner.

His second on 24 minutes came after superb one-touch football. Derek Chester fed Turner and from his square ball, Davies steered the ball home from six yards for his 25th strike of the season.
