AFC Wimbledon are set to sign Crawley Town winger James Tilley on a permanent deal, according to the South London Press.

The Reds fan favourite’s impending departure was also reported by the WAGMI United Leaks Twitter account.

Tilley, who began his professional career at Brighton & Hove Albion in 2015, appeared 35 times in League Two for Crawley Town last season, scoring five goals and providing one assist.

The 25-year-old has made 89 appearances for the Reds since joining from Grimsby Town in January 2021, netting 11 goals and creating two assists.
