Common will host a Haywards Heath Town side which has won its last 20 Macron Store Southern Combination Football League Division One matches since losing on the opening day of the season.

Ten points clear of their nearest rivals and with games in hand, Heath looked nailed on to clinch the title. They’ve scored more goals than anybody else in the division and conceded fewer.

Common are eighth in the table with just over half as many points as Heath, but the two teams fought out a trio of competitive contests in mid-Sussex earlier in the season.

Common were 2-0 winners in a Peter Bentley Challenge Cup first round tie, and were only edged out 2-1 in the FA Vase and in the reverse league fixture.

And in reaching the quarter-finals of three knockout competitions this term, Common have proved they are a match for most sides in the league on their day. Kick-off at the Recreation Ground is 7.30pm.
